Delete your HUIO account

Option 1 — In the app (immediate)

1. Sign in to the HUIO app or huioapp.com.
2. Open Settings → Privacy & data rights.
3. Tap “Delete account”, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm.

Deletion runs immediately and signs you out of every device.

Option 2 — By email (if you can’t access the app)

Email admin@huioapp.com from the email address of your HUIO account with the subject “HUIO account deletion request”. We may ask you to confirm ownership before processing. Requests are processed manually by our team, not instantly.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in and profile (name, email, languages, voice preferences).
• Rooms you own, your conversations, translations, reactions and meeting minutes you generated.
• Referral codes and preferences.
• Chat messages you sent in other people’s rooms are anonymized (your name and identity are removed) so the other participants’ conversation stays intact.
• Technical diagnostics and usage telemetry are unlinked from your account.
• HUIO does not store audio or video of your conversations, so there are no media files to delete.

What may be retained, and why

• Payment records and the accounting ledger — tax and accounting obligations.
• Billing and minute-usage records, without your email — reconciliation and fraud prevention.
• Libro de Reclamaciones (Peru) complaints — consumer-protection law.
• Evidence that you accepted our legal documents, and a record of your deletion request — legal proof.

These records are kept only for the periods required by applicable law and are not used to identify you for any other purpose.
